Lumense developed SensorIT, a common, scalable sensor platform augmented with low cost optical detectors customized for specific targets, allowing customers to move from a reactive to a proactive approach to contaminant management and recipe control. The SensorIT platform has been used to continuously detect trace amounts of dozens of different substances, many of which previously could only be detected and quantified with expensive laboratory equipment after sampling. An ammonia monitor for air monitoring in poultry houses is the first product to be released under Lumense`s SensorIT technology platform. As part of the platform, customers will be able to view and manage their sensor data remotely and securely.
