Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., was founded in 1972 with three employees working primarily with the U.S. Navy, leading major technical support programs for the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP). SPA has expanded its customer base and experience to cover a wide range of missions and clients in the Departments of Defense, Homeland Security, and Energy. In 1958 the Air Force needed a technically qualified unbiased organization that could rapidly provide analysis for identified and evolving mission requirements.
