Reporting to the Global Head of Operations of Asset Management Operations, the Chief Technology Officer, Asset Management Operations will supervise the IT group of a multi-boutique platform running $700 bn in fixed income and equity assets, 7x24, in 9 separate locations globally. The CTO will also be responsible for the overall strategy, resourcing and budget management of the department. Additional responsibilities include: MIS, Core Analytics, Performance Attribution, Global Analytics, Trade Communications, Reconciliation Tools, Marketing Systems Support, Intranet and Extranet, and Stable Value Analytics.
Qualifications
10+ years` experience providing and managing Finance industry solutions and experience with industry oriented technology. Responsibilities:
Act as a strategic business partner with senior clients (e.g. business leaders and their directs) to understand organization`s business strategies and align human resource strategy and programs to achieve the business goals, including alignment of succession planning, leadership development, resource planning, talent acquisition, compensation and performance management.
Collaborates with other members of HR Team to implement the HR strategy, including representing client`s business strategy and expectations, representing Human Resources to the business leaders, and reconciling issues that create conflict between Human Resources and business unit strategy.
Attract, motivate, manage and develop a team of HR professionals that are focused at all times on service delivery to HR`s internal BNY Mellon clients.
Exercise appropriate risk control while implementing HR processes that are cost effective, efficient and business focused.

Assist in the design, development, communication and implementation of local compensation, incentive plans, in line with corporate guidance, policy and local business requirements.

Qualifications
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent work experience.
Advanced degree or certification preferred.
8-12 years of progressive related experience, particularly within the financial services industry, with demonstrated knowledge of technical and legal aspects of HR; a minimum 4 years of supervisory/management experience.
The desired candidate should demonstrate strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
