Stella and Charles Guttman Community College is CUNY`s first new community college in over four decades. The College offers associate degree programs in an environment that nurtures student success. Since 2003, the district has increase facilities by 44% through new construction and by additions/major renovations - four new schools have been added to the system. DCS has a thriving professional climate in which the numbers of Nationally Board Certified teachers (currently 62) is steadily increasing and approximately 1/3 of our teachers have earned advanced degrees.
