The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (‘SFMTA), a department of the City and County of San Francisco is responsible for the management of all ground transportation in the City. The SFMTA Board of Directors provides policy oversight for the Agency, including approval of its budget and contracts, and approval of proposed changes of fares, fees, and fines to ensure that the public interest is represented.
