In 2008, Dr. Birdsall transferred to Western Regional Medical Center in greater Phoenix as the Medical Director of Integrative Oncology and Naturopathic Medicine and later became the Vice Chief of Staff where she was responsible for coordinating clinical efficiency and workflow for the Physician, NP, and PA staff and outpatient clinics. In addition, she was responsible for ensuring seamless care integration across multiple services lines, including medical, radiation and surgical oncology, radiology, pathology, gastroenterology, pulmonology and urology. Dr. Birdsall was integral in transforming Western Regional Medical Center from a startup hospital/clinic to the leading oncology center in the Southwest United States. She is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology.
