Market USA, a full-service financial institution, was originally chartered in 1953 to serve Giant Food employees in the Mid-Atlantic region. Throughout the years our membership has grown to include additional grocery store chains such as Giant of Carlisle, Stop and Shop, and BI-LO, as well as over 80 select employer groups. As a member-owned, not-for-profit cooperative, we exist solely to bring our membership innovative products and services with low loan rates, competitive dividend rates, and low or no fees. Benefits of membership include free checking, a variety of loan and deposit products, mobile services, financial education and counseling, access to thousands of surcharge-free ATMs, discounts on insurance products, and much more. Our top priority is our members financial success. Members are our shareholders and each member has one vote. In addition, we are governed by a volunteer board of directors who look out for the best interest of members, not stockholders.

Greater Iowa Credit Union (GICU) is a member-owned financial cooperative established in June 1932 by a group of Iowa State University employees. It has grown to serve over 36,000 members across a 33-county area in Central and Western Iowa, managing assets between $624 million and $667 million. GICU is federally insured and state-chartered, emphasizing its commitment to the financial well-being of its members and the communities it serves. GICU offers a range of financial services typical of credit unions, including banking services like checking and savings accounts, loans for personal, auto, and business needs, and possibly investment services. The credit union operates nine branch locations in cities such as Ames, Ankeny, and Des Moines, providing localized service. GICU is also dedicated to community engagement, having received recognition as the Best Credit Union in Crawford County and Story County multiple times.
Our roots belong with the Custom Cabinetmaker. We were cabinetmakers for years and identify with the values and qualities of the custom cabinetmaker.
