Clif Bar was born on a bike. In 1990, Gary Erickson set off on a 175-mile bike ride. Exhausted and hungry, he realized he couldn`t take another bite of the energy bars he brought along. In that moment he now calls `the epiphany,` he had the idea to make a better tasting energy bar. Guided by Five Aspirations – Sustaining our People, our Business, our Brands, our Community and the Planet – Clif Bar is a family- and employee- owned company that loves food. We believe that food provides health, joy and energy to do the things we are passionate about. The food we create is good for people and the planet. We believe that happy, healthy people create the best food. We want to help our people live the lives they want to live so we`ve created an environment where our people can grow and succeed both personally and professionally. We strive to: • Create a company culture that inspires and supports our people in and outside work. • Sustain our people with competitive pay and innovative benefits and holistic wellness offerings. • Hire the right people for the right positions and support them to grow in their current and future roles. Working at Clif Bar is a chance to make impactful changes. To your career. To your community. To the planet. And, to your life!

Lowell Herb Co. has elevated the perception of cannabis consumption with its sophisticated packaging and best selling products. Based in California, Lowell Herb Co.`s ethos is reflected through its instantly recognizable bull logo that pays homage to the fight against cannabis prohibition. The Lowell Herb Co. story dates back to the spring of 1909, William “Bull” Lowell began growing what was called Indian Hemp on his farm on the central coast of California. Henry J. Finger took a dislike to Bull`s “marijuana being smoked by the wrong kinds of people”. Finger conspired to outlaw cannabis and later passed the 1913 Poison Act. Bull believed in a man`s right to smoke the dried plant and enjoy its benefits. When the stubborn Bull refused to stop growing his beloved plant, Finger shut down Bull`s farm and later threw him in jail. Today Lowell Farms, a community of family farms honor the great Bull Lowell`s tradition of growing cannabis naturally and with a deep love and respect for the plant. OUR PLEDGE 1. We grow our flowers with only ORGANIC fertilizer. 2. We never use synthetic pesticides 3. We pay our farmers a proper living wage 4. We use natural materials from seed to sale.
