In 2018, Arctaris launched its 4th fund, the Arctaris Impact Fund, LP, which aims to originate $500m of growth capital investments to businesses in underserved regions with an emphasis on inner cities and targeted rural communities. The Impact Fund`s structure is designed to provide above-market returns, liquidity, principal-protection, and CRA credit (for bank investors), while revitalizing underserved communities. The Fund includes significant principal-protection through foundations and government partners. In 2019, Arctaris launched its 5th fund, the Arctaris Opportunity Zone Fund 2019, LLC, which received significant allocation and principal guarantees from the Kresge Foundation, the State of Maine, and other government economic development agency partners.
