Coconino Community College (CCC) was established in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1991 and currently serves all of Coconino County reaching out to communities in Flagstaff, Williams, the Grand Canyon, Page/Lake Powell, Fredonia, Tuba City, the Navajo Nation and surrounding areas. When CCC first opened its doors,nearly 1,000 students enrolled at the Flagstaff campus in the first semester. Since then, the college has experienced an astounding growth rate and today servesnearly 10,000 students per year with four main campuses: the Flagstaff Lone Tree Campus and District Offices; Flagstaff Fourth Street Campus and Technology Center along with the FMC Institute for Nursing Education; Page/Lake Powell Campus and Navajo Generating Station Technology Center; andthe Williams Campus.Classes are also available at CCC. CCC provides affordable tuition and a wide variety of certificates and degrees including career/technical programs. Additionally, CCC offers classes in continuing education, community interest courses and non-credit workshops. Many classes transfer to four-year Universities. The Medical College of Wisconsin, or simply MCW, is a private, freestanding medical school and graduate school of sciences located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was formerly affiliated with Marquette University, but has operated as an independent institution since 1967.[1] MCW is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association (NCA) of Colleges and Schools and by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME). The NCA is the accrediting body for all institutions of higher education in the College's geographic region and the LCME is the accrediting body of all US medical schools. Along with the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, it is one of only two medical schools in Wisconsin, and it is the only private medical school in the state.
