Goodwill of Southern Nevada, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides education, employment and training for people with disabilities and other special needs to maximize the quality of life for each individual served. We support our mission though a process called "The Cycle of Giving". This means that we take donations from local Nevadans, items such as clothes, home goods, furniture and more, and sell in in our retail stores, online, and to recyclers/salvage buyers. The funds generated through the sale of these donated items are then used to fund job training and placement programs for local adults, veterans, and youth. Additionally, we have an active fund development/grant department and several annual special events that support our programs as well.
Since 1982, Project Transition has provided hope and healing to adults with serious mental illness. Our members are part of a residential treatment community that promotes sustainable recovery. Each of our six locations is situated in an attractive apartment complex and located in the Southeastern Pennsylvania region.
The South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership is a collaboration of the economic development partners from 47 smart connected communities in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. The organization serves as a single point of contact for regional communication and seeks to create economic opportunities for all partner members through collaborative promotion, marketing and capacity building efforts. The counties include Elkhart, Marshall and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana and Berrien & Cass Counties in Michigan.
