Job Description
The chief financial officer is accountable for the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the company, to include the development of a financial and operational strategy, metrics tied to that strategy, and the ongoing development and monitoring of appropriate control systems designed to manage company assets and report accurate financial results. The CFO will oversee the worldwide finance and accounting functions including financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial and management reporting, treasury, investor relations and acquisition work. Work closely with the President and CEO to grow the company. Evaluate and provide insight into the financial data and trends. Be an effective business-oriented partner to other members of the executive management team.

Major Responsibilities 1. Overall responsibility for the financial functions of the company including strategy, budgeting and forecasting, planning and analysis, cash management, reporting, internal controls, risk management, audit and tax. 2. Design and lead a best-in-class finance and accounting organization that is effective in a matrix environment. Manage the staff to include hiring, training, coaching, and evaluation. 3. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements 4. Provide timely, accurate and quality financial reporting, planning and forecasting on a global basis. Provide executive level analysis and commentary. 5. Assist in formulating the company`s future direction and supporting tactical initiatives 6. Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans 7. Manage the capital request and budgeting processes 8. Develop performance measures that support the company`s strategic direction 9. Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances. 10. Manage issuance of financial information and quarterly Board presentations. 11. Design and deliver effective and efficient processes and tools in an environment using multiple ERP systems. Continue to evolve the data warehouse. 12. Influence, coach and lead peers in the finance discipline. 13. Work with the Wellspring Capital Management with respect to their reporting requirements and requests. 14. Participate in conference calls with the investment community 15. Maintain banking relationships 16. Assess and support acquisition activities. Qualifications The candidate chief financial officer should have a master`s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major manufacturing company or division of a large manufacturing corporation. Must have global experience, preferably in Europe and Asia. Candidate must also be experienced in partnering with an executive team, and have a high level of written and oral communication skills. Preference will be given to candidates with an MBA in Finance and the Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designations. A strong preference will also be given to candidates that have previous experience in a Private Equity environment.
