Horizontal drilling and multi-stage hydraulic fracture completions in the Niobrara have ignited a new wave of activity and brought substantial results. The DJ Basin offers several competitive strengths; lower cost development, low lifting costs, long-lived production and reserves, existing gathering/processing/transportation infrastructure in place and a well established service sector presence.
