Another subsidiary, NCS Industries (“NCS”), is a leading distributor of Motorola broadband products and is a Master Distributor for the United States distribution of Fujitsu Frontech North America encoders, decoders and media solutions products. Other subsidiaries distribute and/or resell Arris, Standard, Corning-Gilbert, Blonder-Tongue, RL Drake and Quintech products. We continue to upgrade our products to stay in the forefront of the communications broadband technology revolution. We continue to expand our core product lines (headend and distribution) to maintain the ability to provide electronics equipment needed to build smaller cable systems and much of the equipment needed in larger systems for the most efficient operation and highest profitability in high density areas. We also continue to purchase surplus equipment from cable operators and others that become available as a result of upgrades in their systems or overstocks in their warehouses. We maintain one of the industry’s largest inventories of new and refurbished equipment, allowing us to provide products within a short period of time. Six of our locations operate service centers specializing in Motorola, Magnavox, Cisco SPVTG and Alpha Power Supplies repairs.
