Primary Purpose:
Implementing the transformation of the talent acquisition function that supports Alcoa’s U.S. based businesses and resource units
Major Activites / Key Challenges:
Leading and motivating a team of recruiters, candidate care specialists, analysts, and team leaders to achieve performance goals, as well as working closely with the executive talent management team to set and develop the overall strategic direction of talent acquisition.
Designing, implementing, and directing a best-in-class talent acquisition function where the recruiting and sourcing strategies consistently maintain a strong pipeline of top talent.
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education:
Seven plus years of experience in talent acquisition with at least three years experience managing talent acquisition.
Strong experience in workforce planning, forecasting and developing appropriate resource plans for the recruiting function.
Experience in performance management and delivering on team goals.
Holds self and others accountable for achieving results.
Experience in full-cycle sourcing and recruiting in the manufacturing and engineering space.
Proven success executing and delivering on overall strategic talent acquisition plans.
Significant exposure to the process of developing or refreshing an employment brand with experience ensuring that this message is consistent across the organization.
Has redesigned and implemented best-in-class/scalable processes, organizational structure, technology, analytics and quality screens across a large talent acquisition organization.
Proven experience in managing successful partnerships with business and HR leaders, guiding them with their talent acquisition strategies through periods of significant change and expansion.
