The Vice President of Human Resources is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding and off boarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, and employment law compliance.
Essential Functions
• Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all company personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems.
• Administers the compensation program; monitors the performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
• Performs benefits administration for all responsibilities relating to Advanced Medical`s benefit plans and ensure issues handled efficiently, specifically for areas of geographic responsibility.
• Responsible for coordinating the communications output within a company. Creates and delivers emails, direct mail, brochures, newsletters, and other publications.
• Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt open positions within company timelines and standards.
• Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing.
• Maintains company organization charts and the employee directory.
• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed.
• Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
• Handle and respond to routine and exceptional employee relation issues. Investigate and respond to issues concerning, but not limited to, discrimination charges, unemployment claims, working conditions, disciplinary actions, terminations and other employee complaints and employee relations matters.
• Assist with communication efforts regarding HR initiatives, activities, and goals and ensures a high level of customer service.
• Coordinates recruitment efforts with hiring managers; reviews resumes/applications, performs phone screens, coordinates and participates in interviews, and assists with the final decision process
• Follow the Topgrading hiring process and measure results. Hire at least 80% Top Performers as measured by hiring managers, supervisor, and/or CEO.
• Administering and promoting employee referral program.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

• Intermediate to Expert level working knowledge of MS Office application suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and Power Point).

• Demonstrated leadership ability with upper management a MUST!

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Up to 25% travel is expected.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor`s degree and 6 to 8 years work experience OR equivalent work related experience with generalist experience totaling 6 or more years. Prior exempt level recruitment experience required. Five (5) years Managerial experience preferred in Human Resources or related field.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
