AirTran Airways announces four executive appointments
AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings Inc (NYSE: AAI | Quote | Chart | News | PowerRating), announced today the appointment of Klaus Goersch as executive vice president of Operations and Customer Service.
In his new position Goersch will continue to lead the carrier's flight operations, maintenance and engineering and system operations control and will take on new responsibilities for overseeing airport customer service, in-flight service, reservations and customer relations.
The carrier also reported the appointments of Jack Smith as senior vice president of Customer Service, Rocky Wiggins as senior vice president of Information Service and chief information officer and Stephen Kolski as executive vice president of Corporate Affairs.
All of these appointments are effective immediately.
